Schleich Dinosaurs Brontosaurus
These most amazing hand painted animals have made their way to Collage Collage! We couldn't be happier with these creatures, great and small.
They are absolutely wonderful on their own, but translate beautifully to sensory play bins, the bath, the sandbox and more. You'll sure want to collect them all.
The Brontosaurus from Schleich is one of the most well-known herbivorous dinosaurs from the Late Jurassic period. The Brontosaurus has a long tail, an enormous body and a narrow neck. The dinosaur grew to around 15 tons and 22 m. While skeletons of the Brontosaurus have been found, scientists have never found a skull. It probably had a small head similar to the Apatosaurus. The name Brontosaurus means “thunder lizard.” Scientists used to believe that the dinosaur snapped its tail like a whip.
