Julie Flett is a Cree-Metis author, illustrator, and artist. She has received many awards including the 2017 Governor GeneralÕs Award for ChildrenÕs Literature, the 2016 American Indian Library Association Award for Best Picture Book, and is the three-time recipient of the Christie Harris Illustrated ChildrenÕs Literature Award.
