The Winter Promenade by Andrea Antinori
"The Winter Promenade" or "La Passeggiata D'Inverno" is the newest book from Antinori.
Prickly pears, bamboo and palm trees grow along the Winter Walk in Merano: it is always exposed to the sun and there is no better place to go in winter. With the music of the Passirio stream in the background, it will happen that you greet Mr. Tappeiner or stop to read on a bench with Franz Kafka.
The Winter Walk is the sixth book in the series created on the occasion of "Spring in Merano", an event that enhances the extraordinary natural and cultural heritage of the area, to make Merano discover - or rediscover - in a new and engaging way. In 2020 the book comes out on the occasion of the "Move to Merano" / "Meran beWegt" project.
After the stories of Harriet Russell (2015), Katrin Stangl and Michael Heinze (2016), Steven Guarnaccia (2017), Alessandro Sanna (2018), Noemi Vola (2019), Andrea Antinori tells the city starting from the Winter Walk. The project is inspired by the heritage of Ópla , the Archive of the artist's book for children of the Merano Civic Library, which has been based in Merano since 1997.
