Skunk and Badger by Amy Timberlake and Jon Klassen

It's true that I will likely buy anything for the shop that Jon Klassen illustrates. I've long loved his humor, his poetic and dark mood, and the brillant writers he's often paired with. 

Skunk and Badger is a delight. Amy Timberlake has written a very "Frog and Toad" kinda tale about the worst possible roommate any creature could imagine... a SKUNK! So begins the tale of poor Badger, who just wants to focus on his "important rock work" and be left alone. An "Odd Couple" for the chapter book readers, I can't wait to read this one aloud at home. Delightful full colour book plates sprinkled throughout.
