Welcome to our shop Ambrosius handmade felt Fairies! I’ve long admired these little wonders, I happened upon my first one at a store in Montreal nearly 10 years ago. To think now I’ve circled back to them for my shop is a dream come true.

These dolls are imported from Ambrosius in Romania by a small Montreal company. It’s common practice in Waldorf toy making that they give back to their communities - which Ambrosius does by employing otherwise vulnerable people working from home or who face employment barriers. Like all Waldorf toys, these dolls are made with natural materials, and with such gentle features that children can project their own stories and personalities onto them. To hold one is to see how special they are, made with several different skin tones and each celebrating a particular plant, seed or element.
