Grace Easton studied illustration at Central Saint Martins and Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Her debut picture book, Cannonball Coralie and the Lion (Frances Lincoln, 2018), was translated into multiple languages and received a Kirkus star. Her latest author-illustrated book, The House with the Little Red Door, was published by Thames & Hudson in September 2025 and has been met with a slew of great reviews.

Grace’s illustrations are created by hand using gouache, bringing warmth, texture, and a timeless quality to her storytelling. Her work has been awarded by the Society of Illustrators in both New York and Los Angeles, and the Premio Letteratura Ragazzi Prize. She has also been nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal and shortlisted for Waterstones Book of the Year.
