Ariel Kusby is an author, librarian, and witch who writes children’s books about magic. She is the author of The Little Witch’s Book of Spells (Chronicle Books, 2020), and The Little Witch’s Oracle Deck (Chronicle Books, 2024). She finds inspiration through daydreaming, imaginative play, exploring nature—and of course, stories! Ariel lives in Portland, OR with a velvet-soft rabbit named Poppy.

Olga Baumert is an artist and illustrator. Originally from Poland, she studied Fine Art and Jewellery before moving to the UK where she received her degree in Graphic Design and Illustration at De Montfort University. She is mostly inspired by great stories, interaction between people and nature and natural open landscapes, ideally with tiny looking figures in it. Currently living and working in Leicester, her work is a mix of traditional techniques including gouache, watercolour, acrylic paint and colour pencils.
