David Duff is the pen name of an award-winning advertising creative from Northern Ireland, based in London. He spent much of his childhood listening to the stories of old men and women who sat on rickety chairs and never let the truth get in the way of a good tale. In his stories he is interested in relationships, science, and the absurd. The Day Moon and Earth Had an Argument, illustrated by Noemi Vola, is his first children’s book.

Marianna Coppo is an author and illustrator who studied editorial illustration at MiMaster in Milan and now focuses on freelance illustration. Her debut picture book, Petra, received starred reviews from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly and Booklist, and was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal. She is also the creator of Ray, A Very Late Story, Such a Good Boy and, with author Daisy Bird, Whose Poo?. Her most recent book is Thingamabob.
