Erin Kraan is a children’s book illustrator, woodcutter, and printmaker. Her recent illustrated picture book, Buffalo Fluffalo, authored by Bess Kalb, was an instant Indie Bestseller, a Good Housekeeping 2024 Kids’ Book Award Winner and was most recently named a Barnes & Noble ‘Best Book of 2024’. Erin loves the process of carving her characters into wood and seeing how their quirky and whimsical identities come to life through the ink in the prints. You can often find her doodling while drinking milky coffee and wearing cozy socks. Erin lives with her Bernedoodle, Mister, in Vancouver, Canada.
