We're always excited to host writers at the shop - and this weekend we have 2 of them! Long time friend and supporter of the shop, Kallie George has a new book to celebrate and so does her friend Tiffany Stone.
George's new book "Goodnight Anne" is a beautiful, picture book re-imagining of Anne of Green Gables. It's a lovely way to start a long time love for Anne, and the illustrations by Genevieve Godbout capture the dreamy way Anne sends herself off to sleep with visits from all the iconic moments in the book.
Tiffany Stone's Tree Song is a book of poems for children. I LOVE introducing kids to poems. It's not always easy to do, but with this book they'll follow the life cycle of a tree - from acorn to mighty oak. You'll also enjoy the illustrations from Holly Hatam (of Dear Girl).
