Our parties are designed to be so much more than an event. They’re a time to spark imagination, and let every guest leave feeling proud of something they made with their own hands.
The heart of our party structure is simple yet magical: we begin with a book. Whether it’s about adventurous pirates, unicorns, or delightful ice cream dreams, the stories we read set the tone for our art-making. These books aren’t just an introduction to the theme—they’re a launchpad for creative exploration.
Take a look at our party themes below:
Unicorn Collage Party inspired by "Uni the Unicorn" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal
For our unicorn party we use pre-cut unicorn shapes and glue on colourful yarn for hair, a sparkly paper horn, and decorate with oil pastels, watercolour paints, and finish with glitter glue! Is your unicorn wearing denim shorts? Is it a ninja turtle unicorn? Customize to your hearts content!
Pirate Party inspired by "Ahoy" by Sophie Blackall
For our pirate party, we use popsicle sticks to craft wooden ship details, fabric to create sails, and decorate with oil pastels, watercolour paints, and a touch of gold glitter glue for treasure-like sparkle! Is your pirate ship flying a rainbow flag? Does it have a secret compartment for hidden treasure?
Cats & Dogs Party inspired by "I don't know what to call my cat" by Simon Phillip
For our cats and dogs party, we use pre-cut cat and dog shapes, sparkly paper for collars or accessories, and decorate with oil pastels, watercolour paints, and finish with glitter glue! Is your cat wearing a tiny top hat? Is your dog a superhero pup?
Ice Cream Party inspired by "Today" by Julie Morstad
For our ice cream cone party, we use pre-cut cone and scoop shapes, sparkly paper for extra toppings, and decorate with oil pastels, watercolor paints, and finish with glitter glue and confetti for sprinkles! Is your ice cream cone towering with rainbow scoops? Does it have a sparkly cherry on top? The fun is as sweet as your imagination!
Dragons & Dinosaurs Inspired by "Dragon Dragon" by Eric Carle
For our dinosaur or dragon party, we use pre-cut cardboard shapes, buttons for scales or eyes, paint to bring them to life, and glitter paper for wings, spikes, or fiery breath! Does your dinosaur have a rainbow tail? Does your dragon breathe glittery flames?
Birthday Cake Party inspired by "When's My Birthday?" By Christian Robinson
For our layered cake collage party, we use pre-cut shapes for cake layers, decorate with paint and glitter paper for frosting, add confetti for sprinkles, and top it off with glittery candles! Is your cake a rainbow masterpiece?
Mushroom Party inspired by "Mushrooms Know" by Kallie George
For our mushroom collage party, we use pre-cut mushroom shapes, decorate with paint and glitter paper for colorful caps, add confetti for polka dots, and finish with silly faces on our mushrooms! Does your mushroom have googly eyes? Is it sticking out its tongue?
Mermaid Party Inspired by "Mermaid Moon" by Briony Smith
For our mermaid collage party, we use pre-cut mermaid shapes, decorate with glittery paper for tails and accessories, use yarn for hair, and paint to add vibrant colors! Does your mermaid have a seashell crown? Is she swimming with sparkly fish? Dive into creativity and create your underwater masterpiece!

We’re so proud to celebrate 15 years of providing not just parties but meaningful, memorable experiences. Thank you to everyone who has shared their celebrations with us. Whether it’s a small group of children beaming over their finished collages or a table of adults discovering the joy of felt flower making, these moments have made Collage Collage what it is today.
So here’s to the next 15 years of creativity, connection, and joy! If you haven’t joined us for a party yet, we’d love to have you. Let’s make something wonderful together.
Warmly,
Erin and the Collage Collage Team
